Mirpur div. of DMP finds changes in the set up

A total of 12 police officers including Deputy Commissioner (DC), Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and Assistant Commissioner (AC) of Pallabi Zone, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pallabi Police Station, OC (Investigation), OC (Operations) have been transferred.

The directive was issued in two separate office orders on Saturday (August 8). The transfer was made in an office order signed by Dhaka Metropolitan Police(DMP) Commissioner Mohammad Shafiqul Islam.

According to the order, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) A S M Mahatab Uddin of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Protection Division has been transferred as DC of Mirpur Division. Mirpur DC  Mostaq Ahmed has been transferred to the Protection Division.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADC) of Operations in the same order, Ariful Islam has been made ADC of Pallabi Zone. ADC Mizanur Rahman has been transferred to the Operations Division.

Pallabi Zone Assistant Commissioner of Police (AC) Feroz Kawsar has been sent to Assistant Commissioner of Police Welfare and Sports. AC of this division Shah Kamal has been brought to Pallabi zone.

Meanwhile, the officer-in-charge of Pallabi police station (OC) Nazrul Islam has been sent to the prosecution division. Sutrapur Police Station OC Kazi Wazed Ali has been brought in his place.

Again, Pallabi Police Inspector (Investigation) Mohammad Abdul Mabud has been transferred to Detective Lalbagh Division. DMP's Abu Saeed Al Mamun has been brought to Pallabi police station as the police inspector (investigation).

Pallabi Police Inspector (Operations) Mohammad Emramul Islam has been transferred to Detective Wari Division. Counter Terrorism Unit Police Inspector Yamin Kabir has been transferred as Inspector (Operations) of Pallabi Police Station.
