Teknaf police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Pradeep Kumar Das has been withdrawn over his alleged involvement in the killing of Major (retd.) Sinha Md Rashed Khan in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
An official at Police Headquarters confirmed the matter.
Major Sinha was shot dead by police at Baharchhara police check-post in Teknaf on Friday night.
Two people were arrested and two separate cases were filed in this regard, Superintendent of Police ABM Masud Hossain said on Saturday.
