Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus said, we must understand the language and the thought process of the youth. We need to know how the older generation can share their experience with the younger generation.
He said this after visiting the office of the Education Ministry at the Bangladesh Secretariat.
The Chief Adviser said that the distance between young and old generations getting bigger; it will create trouble. We must minimise the idea gaps between generations.
He stressed the need to foster family values in national curricula.
Professor Muhammad Yunus said that we should reform the education system in a way that it creates a generation of entrepreneurs. We need education, which helps students become creative people. Our young people must fulfil their creative potential.
He said that the education system should not be created in Bangladesh where only exam marks are emphasized. Everyone should realize that exam marks are not everything.
The Chief Adviser also emphasized on inclusion of family values in our national curriculum.
Education Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud and Education Secretary Siddiq Jobaer were present during the Chief Adviser's meeting with senior education ministry officials.
