Primary students’ stipend to be given thru’ Nagad

The government has taken a decision to provide stipends to the students of primary level through digital financial service, ‘Nagad’ of Bangladesh Post Office.

The Primary and Mass Education Ministry gave approval in this regard recently.
The decision was taken following the instruction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,  said the officials.

The government expenditure will reduce one-third, if stipends are provided through the digital financeial service of the post office, the officials added.
