US Bangla to take 45 Indian sailors home Wednesday

A special flight of US-Bangla is scheduled to take back 45 Indian sailors home on Wednesday from Dhaka, reports UNB.

“The US-Bangla special flight with the sailors will leave Dhaka at 9am and reach Delhi at around 12:30pm,” said a press release from US-Bangla.

The sailors, currently in Chattogram port city, will come to Dhaka by this time, the release said adding that the Indian sailors are under the supervision of Mumbai-based Sea Dogs Marine Services Private Ltd.

US-Bangla will be taking the sailors in coordination with Indian High Commission in Dhaka, Bangladesh Ministry of foreign Affairs, Indian Foreign Ministry, and Civil Aviation Authorities of both countries.

US-Bangla special flights brought back 3,000 stranded Bangladeshis from Indian’s Chennai, Thailand’s Bangkok as well as took back 28 Taiwan citizens home from Bangladesh, said the press release.
