The Chief Advisor of the Interim Government, Professor Muhammad Yunus has called on everyone to remain more united than ever, emphasizing that Bangladesh is going through challenging times.

He made these remarks on Wednesday (December 4), during the certificate-awarding ceremony at the conclusion of National Defence Course 2024 and Armed Forces War Course 2024 held at the Defence Services Command and Staff College Complex.

The Chief Advisor stated that the current global and strategic environment is difficult, and Bangladesh is no exception. He urged the people of the country to stay united, more so than at any time in the past.

He congratulated all participants of the National Defence Course 2024 and Armed Forces War Course 2024 for successfully completing their courses.

Praising the role of Bangladesh's armed forces from national emergencies to United Nations peacekeeping missions, he said that the armed forces have brought prestige to Bangladesh on the international stage.

The Chief Advisor expressed satisfaction with the inclusion of important national security-related topics in the high-standard curriculum of the NDC (National Defence College), aimed at ensuring national security.

This year, 95 course members participated in the National Defence Course 2024, including 46 members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, 16 from the civil administration, and 33 participants from 18 friendly nations.
