In the US presidential elections, a ‘bone-to-bone’ fighting is going on in swing states. As a result, it has become difficult to announce the name of the likely winning candidate. However, the Fox News forecast says Trump secured 248 electoral votes. On the other hand, Kamala has 216 electoral votes.

Voting in 50 states continued non-stop from Tuesday morning to night local time in the United States. Due to time zone differences, polling is conducted and completed at different times in the states. Indiana and Kentucky were the first states to close the polls.

However, according to the AP, Republican candidate Donald Trump received 248 Electoral College votes. And Trump’s electoral opponent, Kamla Harris, a candidate for the Democratic Party, received 216 Electoral College votes.

There are a total of 538 electoral votes in the 50 states and the District of Columbia, and the candidate who receives 270 electoral votes will be elected.

BBC says Trump secured 246 electoral votes. Kamala, on the other hand, has 187 electoral votes.

Al Jazeera’s forecast, Trump received 247 electoral votes and Kamala 214. Fox News says Trump got 248 and Kamala 216. Besides, New York Times forecasts say that Trump secured 247 electoral votes and Kamala secured 214. Trump is also far ahead of AP’s forecast.

So far Trump is leading in Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Most of the votes in these states have been counted. Trump is also slightly ahead of Democrat Kamala Harris in Arizona and Wisconsin. More than half of the votes have been counted in these two states. And Harris is ahead only in Michigan, with 32 percent of the vote counted.
