Three hours have passed, but various government institutions' outsourcing employees have not lifted the blockade from Shahbagh. As a result, the passengers suffered due to severe traffic jams in Shahbagh area.

Outsourcing employees are still besieging Shahbagh intersection around 1:30 pm on Saturday. So far about 7,000 people have participated in the demonstration. This number is increasing. The protesters aim to gather 40,000 to 50,000 people by afternoon.

The protesters have warned that if no representative comes from the Chief Adviser's office, they will go towards CA's resident Jamuna.

At around 12.30 pm, when the police wanted to remove them, a tense situation arose between the two sides. But later the police retreated again.

Additional police have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order situation.

Earlier, around 10:30 am, hundreds of thousands of outsourcing employees of various government institutions of the capital blocked the Shahbagh intersection. They laid siege to Shahbagh and demanded the nationalization of their jobs.
