Five more advisors are set to join the interim government. The oath-taking ceremony will be held tomorrow, Friday, August 16, at 4 PM at Bangabhaban, administered by President Md. Sahabuddin.

This information was disclosed by sources at Bangabhaban and the Cabinet Division on Thursday, August 15. However, the identities of the new advisors have not yet been revealed.

Following a student movement against discrimination, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and left the country on August 5, leading to the dissolution of the cabinet. The next day, on August 6, the President dissolved the 12th National Parliament.

Subsequently, on August 8, the interim government took the oath, with Nobel laureate economist Dr. Muhammad Yunus taking charge as the Chief Advisor. Besides him, there are 16 advisors. Three advisors, who were out of Dhaka or the country at the time, could not take the oath that day but did so later.
