Gonobhaban's door is open for students: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, 'Ganabhaban's door is open. I want to sit with the quota activists and listen to them. I don't want conflict.'

 She stated this during a meeting with the central leaders of the Professional Coordination Council at Gonobhaban on Saturday (August 3).

At that time, the head of government announced the cancellation of the proposed pension system in universities, autonomous institutions and government institutions.

Earlier, Sheikh Hasina sat in a meeting with the Professional Coordination Council at around 11 o'clock on Saturday amid the ongoing situation.
Prime Minister's Office sources confirmed the matter.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a meeting with cultural workers at Gonobhaban on Sunday (August 4) at 4:30 pm.
