Two people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck on Rajbari-Kushtia regional road in Rajbari district on Friday (August 2).
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Local sources said that Kushtia-bound a truck collided with a local passenger bus in front of TTC Bhaban in the area around 8:00 am, leaving one person dead on the spot and injured six others.
Later, the injured were sent to Rajbari Sadar hospital where duty doctor declared another died.
Rajbari Ahladipur highway police station Sub-Inspector Jewel Ranan confirmed the matter.
