In view of the situation arising out of violent activities around the quota reform movement in the capital and across the country, considering the safety of the students, four more examinations of the ongoing HSC have been postponed. The exams were scheduled to be held on July 28, 29, 31 and August 1. Including this, 8 exams of the ongoing HSC have been postponed.
This information was confirmed on Thursday (July 25) afternoon by the President of Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of Dhaka Education Board Prof. Tapan Kumar Sarkar.
He said that this decision has been taken considering the safety of the examinees in the prevailing situation of the country.
Earlier, after July 18, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee postponed the HSC examination on July 21, 23 and 25.
In this regard, Tapan Kumar Sarkar informed that these exams will be held after August 11. However, no specific schedule has been fixed.
