At least three people were killed and two others were injured when a truck rammed an auto-rickshaw in Militarypool area under Boalkhali upazila of Chattogram on Thursday night (July 12).
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Police and local sources said that Patiya-bound a truck hit the three-wheeler in the area around 11:00pm, leaving a woman and a child dead on the spot and injured three more.
Later, the injured were sent to hospital where another one died under treatment.
Abdul Baten, sub-inspector at Patiya police station confirmed the matter.
