The price of reticulated liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been increased at the consumer level. In July, the price of a 12-kg cylinder has been increased by Tk 3 to Tk 1,366 compared to June. In June, the price was Tk 1,363.
Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new price on Tuesday (July 2). LPG is the only energy product the price of which is fixed by the BERC.
Nurul Amin, BERC Chairman said that the price of 12 kg LPG has been increased from Tk 1,363 to Tk 1,366.
Earlier, the price of LP gas was reduced in April last year after eight consecutive months of increase. The price of LPG has also redused in May and June this year.
