Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the authorities concerned to maintain transparency while implementing the budget for the new fiscal year (2024-25). PM emphasizes to increase exports to different countries.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave these instructions to the cabinet on Monday (July 1). The meeting was held at the Prime Minister's Office.
Mahbub Hossain, the Cabinet Secretary highlighted the Prime Minister's instructions at a press conference after the meeting.
'PM has given a special directive to all. The budget was passed yesterday (June 30). She has instructed all to implement the budget very carefully, efficiently and transparently,' he added.
The budget of Tk 7 lakh 97 thousand crore for the fiscal year 2024-25 was passed in the parliament session on Sunday (June 30).
