Bangladesh’s new cabinet led by prime minister Sheikh Hasina will be sworn in at 7:00pm on Thursday at Bangabhaban in Bangladesh capital Dhaka.
The Cabinet Division on Wednesday invited 36 people to take oaths as ministers and state ministers in the new cabinet of the Awami League government.
Awami League president Sheikh Hasina, who was elected as the leader of the house by the party’s newly-elected lawmakers, will be sworn in at 7:00pm on Thursday as prime minister at Bangabhaban for her fourth consecutive term before the oath-taking of her new cabinet members.
‘President Mohammed Shahabuddin will administer the oath to the new cabinet members,’ Bnagladesh Sangbad Sangstha reported, quoting president’s press secretary Md Joynal Abedin as saying.
Cabinet secretary Md Mahbub Hossain will conduct the new ministers’ oath-taking ceremony at Durbar Hall of the Bangabhaban, the Bangabhaban spokesman added.
On the occasion, the Bangabhaban has taken preparation to arrange the ceremony with as many as one thousand guests along with dignitaries.
