Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Tuesday said as long as the people of Bangladesh are with Sheikh Hasina, ultimatums will be of no advantage.
“The government will not move a hair away from the constitution,” he said at an event in Dhaka, to mark Sheikh Russel’s 60th birthday to be observed on Wednesday.
Speaking as the chief guest, Obaidul Quader said: “BNP is conspiring to sabotage by bringing terrorists from all over the country to Dhaka. The Awami League government is ready to give a befitting reply to this sabotage.”
He added that the 12th national polls will be free and fair.
