The gas supply of Dhaka’s Kamrangirchar has been cut off for almost a month, forcing the families living there to cook their meals on mud stoves.
The lives of 100,000 were disrupted after the gas supply was stopped for unpaid bills and for allegedly using illegal gas connections.
Several residents claimed that all of the connections that were disconnected were not illegal nor did the line owners have unpaid bills.
They complained about having to suffer for others’ misdeeds.
