At least seven people were killed and 10 others injured in a collision between a bus and truck in Chelerghat of Trishal in Mymensingh on Saturday (October 16).
Of the deceased four were identified. They are –Fazlul Haque, 35, his wife Fatema Begum, 28, son Abdullah, 6, daughter Azmina, 8. The accident took place around 3:00pm.
Sources said that Sherpur-bound a passenger bus hit a sand-laden truck in the area while over taking the truck, leaving six people of a family dead on the spot. Meanwhile, nine others were injured critically. Later, another one died at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
