Workers of Amin Jute Mills on Thursday started demonstration at the factory for their arrears.
Several hundred workers started a sit-in programme in front of the Amin Jute Mills for their arrears on Thursday morning, said Mohammad Kamruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Bayezid police station.
Police requested the authorities to talk to the workers to settle the issue, he said.
