She breathed her last in a Singapore hospital. Her body will be flown back to Dhaka by Thursday morning.
Luna Shamsuddoha was the first female chairman of any state-owned bank. She was also the chairman of the software firm Dohatec New Media.
She is also founder and president of Bangladesh Women in Technology (BWIT). She received the Bangladesh Business Award-2017 for her contribution to the country's economy and was honoured with Anannya Top Ten Awards for her work in the local software industry as a women entrepreneur.
