At least four passengers were killed when a plane crashed in the US state of Texas during an emergency landing. The plane was trying to land before the destination due to a mechanical fault.
The plane crashed at Hilltop Lakes Airport at 10:50 a.m. local time on Sunday (September 20). The plane had two female and two male passengers. They were all killed in the accident.
The plane was en route from Austin to Louisiana when it crashed. Exactly what kind of aircraft it was, however, is not yet known. The rescue team rushed to the spot.
One of the passengers and the other pilot died in the accident. One of the dead was Charles E. Wolf and the other was Wayne de Kahun. It was not known who was flying the plane.
It is learned that the passenger of the plane was going to the hospital. It was a single-engine four-passenger plane.
Earlier this month, another plane crashed in the United States. The two died in a small plane crash in Montana. Another was injured.
The crash happened at night north of CC Lake Airport. Later in the morning, the authorities found the wrecked plane.
