Coronavirus global death toll climbs to 688,913

A total of 688,913 people died from coronavirus worldwide in the  213 countries and territories since the virus emerged in Wuhan of China last December, according to latest data from worldometer.

 
So far, 18,020,684  people have been diagnosed with coronavirus  till Sunday (Bangladesh Time 10:50 ). Of them, 11,330,141 patients have been considered recovered, the source said.

Apart from this, the number of active cases are 6,001,630.

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 157,898 deaths, followed by Brazil with 93,616, UK 46,193, Mexico 47,472, India 37,403, Italy 35,146, France 30,265, Spain 28,445, Iran 16,982, Russia 14,058, Indonesia 5,193 and Saudi Arab 2,887 respectively, worldometer reported.
