Twenty eight die, 2772 test positive in 24 hours

Bangladesh has reported 28 more deaths from coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in the last 24 hours raising the death toll to 3111 said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Besides, 2772 tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 237661.

Prof. Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of DGHS, came up with the information in an online regular health bulletin about the latest corona situation in the country on Friday    (31.7.20).

In the last 24 hours, 82 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country tested 12614 samples. So far 1176809 samples were tested, Dr. Nasima Sultana added.

In last 24 hours 2176 patients have recovered  making total recovery of 135136 Covid patients.

Bangladesh reported its first croronaviurs case on March 8 while first death on March 18.
