Md Asadul Islam
Planning Division Secretary Md Asadul Islam, who was earlier transferred from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has been promoted as Senior Secretary.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Tuesday.
According to the gazette notification, Secretary Md Asadul Islam will be appointed as the Senior Secretary of the Planning Division.
On June 4, Md Asadul Islam, the then secretary to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) were transferred to the Planning Division while Md Abdul Mannan, chairman of Land Reform Board, made the secretary to the Directorate General of Health Services.
Besides, Mohammad Yeamin Chowdhury, divisional commissioner of Barishal (Additional secretary) were made secretary to the Department of Statistics and Information Management while Asia Khatun, MDS (Addl secy) of BCS Administration Academy, Dhaka was made secretary to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPCS) on June 4. Yeakub Ali Patwary, additional secretary to the Housing and Public Works Ministry were made the chairman (secy) of the Land Reform Board on the same day.
