50 COVID-19 deaths reported in 24 hours

At least 50 more people died of COVID-19 and 2,928 more new patients were detected in Bangladesh in 24 hours ending at 8:00am on Monday.

With the latest tally, the death toll hit 2,668 and the number of detected patients rose to 2,07,453, said Directorate General of Health Services additional director general Nasima Sultana in the daily online bulletin.

Bangladesh registered the first coronavirus infection case on March 8 and the first death on March 18.
