In Bhomra of Satkhira district Jatiya Party leader UP Chairman Yisrael Gazi organized a human chain to protest the vandalism, looting, assault and various threats and to demand his arrest.

On Monday (November 4) at 11 o'clock in the Satkhira District Commissioner's office premises, this human chain was organized by the victim Rishi community.

The speakers in the human chain said that the terrorist forces of Chairman Israel Gazi, Omar Farooq, Abu Saeed, Zulfikar Ali and their mercenary forces members, Sirajul Islam, son of late Sultan Moral, Tariqul Ganga, son of Manik, attacked our homestead and vandalized it.  When he tried to stop them, he was beaten and seriously injured.  Meanwhile, they looted the valuable belongings of our 5 families.

Victim Bulu Dasi, wife of deceased Gobind Das of Boichna village, said in a tearful voice, "We are poor people."  As we don't have any land, in 2010, we purchased SA 142 Khatian, BRS 1/1 Khatian and Kharij Sutra No. 16, 18 through stamp from the record owner of the land, Babu Muchi.  Since then, 5 Rishi families have been living peacefully in the said property for a long time.  But Omar Farooq Ding, the son of deceased Nurul Amin of the area, continued to occupy the property illegally.

Dipali Rani, wife of the victim Sankar Das, said, terrorists attacked our family and vandalized and looted on the orders of Jatiya Party leader, land robber and smuggler Bhomra UP Chairman Israel Gazi.  Now we have no place to cook and eat.  I am spending the day with my children under the open sky. We demand the arrest and exemplary punishment of Islail Ghazi.

Sankar Das, local Kazi Sakib and other members of the victim Rishi's family also spoke at the time.
