5, 10 and 20 taka notes being changed

Interim government finance adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed said that the condition of 5, 10 and 20 taka notes in the market is very fragile. These will be changed quickly.

He said this after a meeting with the officials of the Export Development Bureau (EPB) at the Secretariat on Monday.

At this time, the finance adviser urged the people of the country to take care of the currency and use it.

He also said that the work is going on to know the actual figure of GDP. The export target for this year will be announced soon.

Dr. Salehuddin said, we have closed the opportunity to whiten black money. The budget may be revised in the current or next month. The government will decide on the major development projects in the budget at the highest level.
