All the prosecutors of the International Criminal Tribunal formed during the Awami League government have resigned.
Five days ago, four prosecutors resigned from the prosecution panel of the International Criminal Tribunal. Two days later, three more. Following this, two more prosecutors submitted their resignations on Saturday.
The information was confirmed on Saturday (August 17) by Advocate Rana Dasgupta, the resigned member of the tribunal.
Those who resigned are Shahidur Rahman, Abul Kalam Azad, Rezia Sultana Chaman, Altaf Uddin Ahmed, Senior Advocate Syed Rezaur Rahman (unpaid), Sabina Yasmin Khan Munni, Sultan Mahmud Simon, Mohammad Mukhlesur Rahman Badal and Barrister Tapas Kanti Ball.
