DSE slips into red

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell deeper into red terrain on Monday.

In the first 40 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index shed 33.39 points or 0.52 per cent to 6,270.

Shariah-based DSES index lost 6.28 points or 0.45 per cent to 1,369, while the blue-chip index DS30 decreased 11.01 points or 0.48 per cent to 2,256.

The DSE turnover stood at Tk 122 crore.

Of the issues traded, 62 advanced, 239 declined, and 46 remained unchanged.
