A polythene factory at Chawkbazar in Old Dhaka caught fire Saturday night.
Eleven units of Fire Service and Civil Defense rushed to the spot and engaged in dousing the flame.
Md Shahjahan Sikder, DAD (Media Cell) of Fire Service and Civil Defense said fire raged through the ground floor of the four-storey Madina Ashiq Tower at 11:30pm.
Anything about reason for the fire and casualty could not be known immediately.
