Barrister Sumon was relieved of Jubo League central committee role. No reason was mentioned behind the move
Barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Sumon, a promi lawyer of the Supreme Court and a much talked about figure for his social media appearances, has been expelled from his role in the Jubo League central committee.
Barrister Sumon has been serving as the legal affairs secretary of Jubo League, the ruling party Awami League's youth front, since November last year.
However, Mostafizur Rahman Masud, the office secretary of the AL-affiliate organization, confirmed to UNB that the barrister has been expelled from the central committee, not from the entire organization.
However, Masud didn’t mention the reason behind the move.
