Md. Abul Kalam Azad, ex-dean of Eastern University, is currently working for USPTO, USA. A previous report on Md. Azad's involvement and ill political practices during his stay in Bangladesh was published in October 2020.

In reference to that, an anonymous whistleblower reached out to our office to share a concerning experience with Md. Azad's family. According to this source, Md. Azad's eldest daughter contacted the whistleblower in regards to selling information related to USPTO. Md. Azad proposed to the whistleblower through his daughter to act as a liaison between Md. Azad and the whistleblower's existing East Asian business network.

The whistleblower also shared the threat received from a set of temporary internet phone numbers from Md. Azad's daughter regarding the consequence of the refusal of the offer to act as a liaison.

The whistleblower was also digitally harassed with graphic sexual content sent via these temporary internet numbers. The anonymous source fears the political and financial reach of Md. Azad in the country.

The major concern of our source is to raise awareness regarding the moral integrity of our teachers in our schools and universities. The whistleblower was also alarmed by the fact that such questionable personnel was able to pass through the immigration process even after forging crucial identification information of his family members
