Gold prices fell again

The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price of gold by Tk 2,449. As a result, the price of good quality gold has come down to Tk 84,008 in the country's market.

Bajus said in a statement on Thursday (September 24). The new gold price will be effective from today, Thursday.

According to Bajus' notification, the price of gold and silver ornaments has been fixed in the Bangladesh market from September 24 as per the decision of Bajus considering the general buyers as the price of gold has come down in the international market.

"From today (September 24), the price of 22-carat gold (11.64 grams) has been reduced by Tk 2,449 to Tk 74,006," the statement said. The price of 21 carat gold has been fixed at Tk 80,659, 18 carat gold at Tk 72,111 and traditional gold at Tk 51,006.


Earlier, on Tuesday (September 22) at noon, gold was sold at ১৯ 1,902.28 per ounce; That's ৪ 10.49 less than the day before. Gold traded at inter. 1,912.8 on Monday (September 21). On this day, the price of gold fell sharply. Gold fell ৭ 36.24 an ounce in a single day. In other words, the price of gold per ounce has decreased by 47 $ in one and a half days.
