Bangladesh recorded an additional 34 deaths from COVID-19 and 1,282 infections in the past 24 hours on Saturday, counting the death toll to 4,702 and infections to 3,36,044.
Among the diseased, 23 were male and 11 were female patients.
A Directorate General of Health Services press release came up with the latest COVID-19 data.
Some 10,723 specimens were tested at 94 labs across the country in the past 24 hours.
Bangladesh had tested a total of 17,15,481 specimens as of September 12.
A total of 2,247 patients were declared free from novel coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours totalling the recovery to 2,38,271.
Bangladesh on March 8 reported the first COVID-19 positive cases while the first death was logged ten days later on March 18.
