The Railways Ministry has cancelled the mandatory decision of bearing national identity (NID) card during traveling.  

The Ministry confirmed the matter through a press release on Thursday.

But highest four family members can buy tickets and travel through one NID.

A press release issued on August 13 said that the train passengers must carrying NID while traveling. But now, the decision has been relaxed which eased the passengers' movement, the release aadded.
