At least 47 more people died of COVID-19 and 2,666 more new patients were detected in Bangladesh in 24 hours ending at 8:00am on Sunday as the death and infection kept spiralling in the country.
With the latest tally, the death toll hit 2,352 and the number of detected patients rose to 1,83,795, said Directorate General of Health Services additional director general Nasima Sultana in the daily online bulletin.
Bangladesh registered the first COVID-19 infections on March 8 and the first death on March 18.
