Five people were killed and two others were injured in a collision between a bus and an auto-rickshaw in Sherpur Sadar upazila this morning.

The accident occurred at around 11:30 am on Sunday (December 29) in the Bhatshala area of ​​Sadar Upazila on the Sherpur-Mymensingh highway.

It is learned that a bus named Rifat Paribahan collided head-on with a passenger auto-rickshaw in the area around 11:30 am. Five people were killed on the spot. Two others were injured. They were rescued and sent to the hospital. 

Sadar Police Station members reached the spot.
