Dr Asif Nazrul, adviser on Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs said that President Md Shahabuddin comments on Sheikh Hasina's resignation issue. Sahabuddin violated the oath by lying.

 
He said this to the reporters at the ministry on Monday (October 21).

Dr Asif Nazrul said, there is a question whether he has the qualification to hold this position or not. If he sticks to his statement then the matter will go to the Advisory Council and further decisions will be taken.

He said that the judges of the Supreme Court have given an opinion. The President contradicted himself. He has no right to remain in this position. In another speech, he said that Sheikh Hasina had resigned. How does he say this after two and a half months? He cannot hold the presidency.
