Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim agreed to take bilateral relations to new heights in a meeting with interim government chief adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus. He also gave good news for Bangladeshi workers.
After the meeting, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said in a press conference at Hotel Intercontinental on Friday afternoon that 18,000 Bangladeshis will be hired for the Malaysian labour market in the first phase.
He said I have full confidence in Dr. Mohammad Yunus' leadership. I believe Bangladesh will move forward and remain fully cooperative.
The chief adviser Muhammad Yunus said, I want to take bilateral relations with Malaysia to a new height. Political, humanitarian and commercial aspects were discussed in the meeting. Talked about manpower export with Malaysia.
Anwar Ibrahim is accompanied by a 58-member delegation comprising of his cabinet members, ministers, parliamentarians and senior government officials.
