Interim Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has announced that projects taken for political purposes will be reevaluated, emphasizing the need to focus on areas affected by the recent floods.

He made this statement during a meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) at his office in Tejgaon on Wednesday. This was the first ECNEC meeting during the interim government.

During the meeting, council members agreed to prioritize important small projects over mega ones. The Chief Advisor stated, "All project information will be open from now on," adding that careful consideration is needed for projects initiated for political reasons and that mega projects should also be reconsidered.

He emphasized the importance of working impartially and independently, focusing on project formulation and implementation.
