Student Politics banned in 7 Unis, 3 Medical Colleges

Student politics has been banned in 7 public universities and 3 medical colleges of the country in view of the demands of the anti-discrimination student movement. Apart from student politics, the politics of teachers and officials have also been banned.

 
The 7 universities are Comilla University, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University of Dinajpur, Begum Rokeya University of Rangpur, Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Bangladesh Textile University of Dhaka (BUTEX) and Noakhali University of Science and Technology. Besides, the authorities of Dhaka Medical College, Chittagong Medical College and Sir Salimullah Medical College have also banned student politics in their campuses.

However, the top universities of the country like Dhaka University, Jahangirnagar University, Chittagong University and Rajshahi University have not yet announced any decision regarding student politics.
