Interim Governments' Interior Ministry advisor, Brigadier General (retd.) M Sakhawat Hossain warned to the policemen. They will lose their jobs if they do not return to work within the stipulated time.
He stated this when visited the injured policemen at Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital on Sunday (August 11).
Sakhawat Hossain said, we will discuss and point a specific date. If the policemen do not return to work by that date, they will be declared absconders.
The Home Advisor said, attack on police is very painful. Not saying they didn't do anything though. Thousands of youths have died in police and other shootings.
Urging the policemen to return to the police station, Sakhawat Hossain said that all the demands of the policemen will be accepted.
Along with, certificates will be given to the students working in the road congestion relief by the police.
He also said, 'Media role in this movement was questionable. Current situation of police is because of the media. Media will not be allowed to continue like this. If any media is flattering during this period, I will stop it. No matter how hard they try, it will not work at all.'
