Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handed over family savings certificates and cash assistance to the 34 families who killed in the violence surrounding the quota reform movement.

She distribute this in Ganobhaban on Sunday (July 28) morning. This information has been confirmed by the Prime Minister's office.

The Prime Minister spoke to the relatives of the deceased and inquired about them. Many people hugged the Prime Minister and burst into tears. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina got emotional and also seen shedding tears. She tried to console them.

With tears in her eyes, the Prime Minister consoled them and said, 'Look at me, I am living with grief.' Referring to the loss of her relatives including parents and brothers in one night, she said, 'I have no words to console.' I understand your pain.

A heart-rending atmosphere was created in the banquet hall of Ganabhaban. The Prime Minister handed over family savings certificates and cash to the family members of 34 people as financial assistance.

At that time, the Speaker of the National Parliament was present in Ganobhaban. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal were also present.
