Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader held a meeting with a delegation of university teachers on the issue of cancellation of Pratyay scheme.

Federation of Bangladesh University Teachers' Association Secretary General and DU Teachers' Association President Prof Dr Md Nizamul Haque Bhuiyan said the three-point discussion was discused during the meeting.

The meeting began at the Awami League president's political office in Dhanmondi at 11am on Saturday and ended at 1pm on July 13.

After the meeting, Nizamul Haque said, 'Our three-point demand was discussed. It was an open discussion. I will talk to the media after discussing with the Federation of Teachers' Associations'.

Regarding the ongoing strike, he said, 'We will take a decision after talking to the federation, teachers' associations in all the universities.'
