Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has commented that there is no justification for wasting time in the name of anti-quota movement and disobeying the High Court verdict. The prime minister said this while addressing the 22nd foundation anniversary ceremony of Jubo Mahila League at Ganobhaban on Sunday (July 7).

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, I see the quota movement. The quota for freedom fighters should be abolished, the quota for women should be abolished, so-and-so. But it was canceled once. But what's the result? If the public service commission exam results observed, it will be seen that where there was quota earlier, girls have not got the same amount of opportunities in these few years. This is the reality.

The Prime Minister said that many districts of remote areas, people of those areas remain deprived. They also not getting jobs. On account of such deprivation, the High Court passed a judgment. We always accept the judgment of the High Court. But I saw that now the anti-quota movement is trying to build again. Boys and girls drop out of education and protest against quota. Girls do so. I have a question here. Those who did the anti-quota movement earlier, how many of them took the Public Service Commission exam and how many passed? Let them show that they passed more tests. Whether girls got more jobs by passing more. Let them prove it first.

The Prime Minister also said that this kind of agitation against the High Court's verdict is sub judice. We cannot speak like this about the government. If the High Court gives a verdict, you will have to come again from the High Court. But I don't think there is any justification for wasting time in the name of movement.
