He said DMTCL was informed that the opening of this section is now set for October 29.
Earlier on August 20, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader announced that the Motijheel section of the metro rail would be inaugurated on October 20.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the MRT Line-6.
The metro rail service from Uttara to Agargaon was inaugurated on December 28 last year.
All stations in this section have already been operational. Currently, the metro rail operates from 8am-8pm daily.
