Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday opened lower, led by insurers.

In the first hour into day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index gained 1.51 points or 0.02 per cent to settle at 6,204.

The Shariah-based DSES index lost 0.08 points or 0 per cent to 1,355 while the blue-chip index DS30 added 0.25 point or 0.01 per cent to 2,197.

The DSE turnover stands at Tk 81 crore.
