One of the leading Pop stars of Bangladesh, Ferdous Wahid, is undergoing treatment in a hospital in Dhaka after suffering from a heart attack.
He suffered from a cardiac arrest on Thursday night and has been taken to BIRDEM for treatment. His cousin Tayeba Nabi Tannu confirmed the news through a Facebook post.
He is undergoing treatment at BIRDEM hospital.
The renowned artiste had previously suffered from Covid-19 in 2020.
Wahid also has been suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes for years.
He is one of the voices responsible for the popularisation of Pop in the country.
He sang classics like "Mamonia", "Age Jodi Jantam", "Neel Jochona" and "Bhalo Lage".
