Ruling Awami League presidium member and former home minister Sahara Khatun was shifted to Incentive Care Unit at a hospital in the capital on Friday as her condition deteriorated during undergoing treatment.
Sahara, also an advocate, was shifted to general ICU at United Hospital in the capital where she was admitted with old age complications on June 2, her personal assistant Mujibur Rahman told New Age.
Three-time lawmaker Sahara was hospitalised with fever, allergy and various old age complications.
Shahra tested COVID-19 negative while undergoing treatment, Mujibur said.
She is AL lawmaker of Dhaka-18 constituency.
